ROM EXCELLENT V

The United Labrador Retriever Association (ULRA) grants the ROM-Excellent V(ROM-XV) for sires and dams with 15 titles earned by offspring.

Qualifying titles can include field, obedience and/or show titles or a combination of titles from each or all areas.  Multiple titles from one dog count as per the number of titles earned by that dog.  Examples of qualifying titles are:  SHR, HR, Show Champion, Grand Show Champion, etc.

Rules governing the ROM ROM-X and ROM-XV:

1.      Any UKC Registered Labrador Retriever owned or co-owned by an ULRA member may be submitted for the Register of Merit or Register of Merit-Excellent.
2.      There is no time limit on when the contributing titles can be earned.  This means that the ROM or ROM-X may sometimes be awarded posthumously.
3.      All qualifying titles must be UKC titles or certificates.
4.      If ALL of the offspring earning titles are owned or co-owned by ULRA members, and all of the qualifying titles are earned with ULRA members handling the dogs, the ROM or ROM-X may be bestowed as an honor on a dog not owned or co-owned by an ULRA member. In this instance only the dog does not have to be UKC registered.
